The Wired Lab X Castleden Co: Charity Auction & Partnership
Inspired and connected by The Wired Lab’s cultural activities, Castleden Co is paying it forward by giving back to our rural communities with a charity auction and partnership.
After Heidi and others in her community benefited from The Wired Lab’s initiatives which provided free access to workshops for those who are drought-impacted, Heidi Castelden brought the idea for a charity partnership to the table so The Wired Lab can continue their programs in rural, regional and Indigenous communities.
To launch and celebrate the partnership we are auctioning a limited-edition range of ceramics handcrafted by Martha Casey-Knight of Hell Wench Ceramics during GivingTuesday week.
Martha generously created and gifted the 11 pieces with hand painted motifs inspired by Castleden Co’s Katherine Hall botanical print range, and 100% of the auction proceeds will go to The Wired Lab.
All auction items or donations are tax deductible. The five auctions will run from Tuesday 1 December to 9pm, Tuesday 8 December, to view the items and bid go to app.galabid.com/twl.
Castleden Co has gathered a range of beautiful artisan pieces including clutch purses, tea towels, belts and t-shirts with a portion of proceeds going towards The Wired Lab. These items are now available to purchase at castleden.co

The Wired Lab is a not-for-profit cultural development company and will use the fundraising proceeds to continue to offer a range of initiatives for rural, regional and Indigenous communities that have been hugely impacted by drought, bushfires and COVID-19. These initiatives range from community collaborations, creative workshops and wellbeing programs through to live events featuring leading Australian and international artists. These activities provide much needed social connection and cultural opportunities that are specifically designed to benefit rural communities.
Castleden Co is an authorised fundraiser for The Wired Lab Culture Trust, CFN/25774.
