‘Fabrics & Fibres’ exhibition of community workshop outcomes
Fabrics & Fibres is a community exhibition inspired by our natural environment
This exhibition is a collaboration with the wonderful volunteer run The Arts Centre, Cootamundra, and features art works by local Cootamundra artists Janelle Noack (Patchwork), Beverly Moxon (Fibre) and participants of The Wired Lab’s 2014 Creative Ageing / ‘Box Gum Grassy Woodlands’ workshop series in bush dyeing, weaving and field recording. Many of the works in the exhibition are sourced from and inspired by our local bush environs.
We have loaded some of the field recording works on our SoundCloud page, rather impressive for 1st timers!
The exhibition is open until Sunday 9th August, 2015.
Entry by gold coin donation, proceeds to The Arts Centre and its programs.
