2019/2020 WIRED OPEN LABS WORKSHOP & DROUGHT & BUSHFIRE SUBSIDY PROGRAM
We have some UPLIFTING news for our rural comrades who have been affected by this wretched drought and the recent bushfires.
>>>>> The opportunity to access some FREE places in our ‘Wired Open Labs’ Workshop program. <<<<<
This initiative is made possible with a Murrumbidgee Community Grant, which is an initiative of Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (Murrumbidgee PHN) and part of the Australian Government’s ‘Empowering our Communities’ funding.
Our Drought Subsidy Program provides subsidised (FREE) places to many of our creative workshops.
Places are limited and to secure a place we need you to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) explaining how the drought and/or recent bushfires has impacted you and why you will benefit from attending a workshop.
We understand there are many direct and indirect impacts of natural disasters like drought and bushfire, and that these impacts span family farm businesses, local businesses, employment opportunities, through to working in service industries where you are supporting drought affected people. Or perhaps you are someone buying-in drinking water, or trying to afford the high prices of stock feed for your precious animals, or you just really need ‘time out’ and would love to have some special time with a friend, your spouse or one of your kids. We know the list goes on, and our EOI process takes this into consideration and we have deliberately kept the EOI process brief. Rest assured your EOI is confidential and if you secure a subsidised place we honour your privacy. Staff and Board members of The Wired Lab will be selecting the successful EOIs.
If you reside in the area covered by Murrumbidgee PHN you are eligible to submit an expression of interest. Murrumbidgee PHN covers a large area from Hay, Carrathool, the Murray River, Hume, Lachlan, Bland, through to the Snowy Valleys and Hilltops regions. If you need to travel a substantial distance, we may also be able to assist with travel and accommodation costs. To see if you are eligible, please refer to the area map of Murrumbidgee PHN to your left or it can be viewed HERE
